For a true recovery to happen, Canadian universities must meet the challenges of a dwindling airline workforce head on.
COVID-19 has been devastating for the sector. Last year's international passenger demand was down 75.6 per cent from 2019 levels, as reported by IATA. It is predicted that 2021 will see a recovery to about half of the travel demand of 2019, depending on the impact of travel restrictions associated with new virus variants.
