Digging into the Senate’s new soil study
Cultivating healthier soil in this country can reap benefits for farmers, the environment, and for all Canadians, writes CSG Senator Robert Black.
The Senate of Canada last studied soil health in 1984, when its Senate Agriculture Committee released a report called, Soil at Risk: Canada’s Eroding Future. It’s a report I used as a student.
