‘This is the Canada nobody sees’: PIPSC president visits nursing stations in remote First Nations northern communities, understands ‘why so many nurses are walking away’
Kyle Fournier, spokesperson for Indigenous Services Canada, says the department is taking an 'all hands-on-deck approach' with First Nations leadership, provincial and industry partners, and healthcare agencies to 'identify and implement tangible solutions' to nursing shortages on reserves.
