StatsCan data suggests private sector PPE procurement out of step with science
Statistics Canada data shows businesses are still primarily focused on procuring PPE like hand sanitizer and disinfectant, even as the science shows a need for more focus on measures that curb aerosol transmission. The federal government has made millions of dollars available for things like ventilation upgrades, and that money is beginning to be put to work.
