He’ll deliver the speech at 8:30 a.m. at the Port of Montréal. International Trade Minister François-Philippe Champagne is introducing senior management of the new Invest in Canada government body at 12:40 p.m. (Mountain time) at the Shaw Conference Centre in Edmonton. The organization's mandate is to help attract foreign investment to Canada. Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale is visiting the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Medicine in Saskatoon today to promote government investments in safe driving, infectious diseases, sleep disorders, cancer research, and swine welfare. He’s scheduled to hold a media availability alongside University of Saskatchewan President Peter Stoicheff and university researchers there at 11 a.m. (Central Standard time). Treasury Board President Scott Brison will be participating in a roundtable at Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax this morning to discuss budget measures aimed at promoting pay equity and women’s entrepreneurship. His closing remarks to the roundtable and a subsequent media availability will start at 12:05 p.m. (Atlantic time). Natural Resources Minister Jim Carr is attending the 2018 GLOBE Forum in Vancouver today, where he deliver remarks at 8:30 a.m. (Pacific time) as part of the session "Energy Futures: Mitigating Risk, Driving Opportunity." The event is being hosted at the Pan Pacific Hotel. He'll also hold a media availability there at 9:15 a.m. At 9 a.m., the Office of the Parliamentary Budget Officer will post a new report entitled “Budget 2018: Issues for Parliamentarians” on its website. Then in London, Ont., Families, Children, and Social Development Minister Jean-Yves Duclos is visiting the Beacock Branch of the London Public Library branch at 9:30 a.m. to highlight budget measures for families with young children. Environment Minister Catherine McKenna will speak at an event hosted by the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade. She will also participate in the GLOBE Climate Leadership Awards ceremonies at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Also in Vancouver, Fisheries Minister Dominic LeBlanc is making a funding announcement to protect Southern Resident Killer Whales at 9 a.m. (Pacific time) at the Vancouver Aquarium.
