Nationwide news-makers: Defence Minister Harjit S. Sajjan will be in Toronto where he will hold meetings with members of the Canadian military reservists at the Moss Park Armoury. He will be discussing how the Canadian Armed Forces’ Reserve Forces fit into Canada’s new defence policy. Mr. Sajjan is also scheduled to present the first grant under the Compensation for Employers of Reservists Program (CERP) to the York Regional Police force. Stay on top of the world: Carla Qualtrough, minister of Sport and Persons with Disabilities, will be in New York City today where she will speak at the 10th session of the Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) at the headquarters of the United Nations.
