Time to adopt legislation to address the human cost of low prices

Since 2018, there have been three attempts to pass modern slavery legislation in Canada—one in the House and two in the Senate. These bills died when elections were called in 2019 and 2021. A fourth will be tabled as soon as Parliament resumes.
