Pandemic-fuelled demand for digital services is here to stay

If government leaders want to gain the confidence of citizens and encourage adoption of public services, then meeting the evolving digital needs of Canadians must become a priority now.

Looking at the impact of the pandemic on the business community in Canada, it’s clear that rapid digital transformation has taken place across the board. From large enterprise organizations to local small businesses, products and services are now being offered online for convenience and safety. After more than a year of adapting to this digital economy, expectations have shifted among Canadians. Now they’re looking to government to provide these same consumer-grade experiences for public services.
