Re: “Monsef, Gould fell off the glass cliff,” (The Hill Times, Feb. 15, p. 13, by Jenn Jefferys.) I would caution anyone trying to score partisan points by focusing on my age or gender to think twice. By suggesting that young women ministers have been “thrown off a glass cliff,” you risk building a narrative that takes agency away from women and further reinforces the misconception that women can’t handle tough jobs or leadership positions.
