Fisheries, Oceans, and Canadian Coast Guard Minister Dominic LeBlanc has hired two senior staffers to join his political staff team, one of whom is filling a void left by the minister’s former director of parliamentary affairs, Sharon Ashley. Ms. Ashley officially switched to post-employment status on Dec. 16 after leaving the minister’s office, as indicated by the office of the Conflict of Interest and Ethics Commissioner’s online registry.
