More than $30,000 was raised for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti
Last week the Parliament Hill community roused from its prorogation slumber to come together for a good cause: raising money for earthquake victims in Haiti. Hill Helps Haiti, held last Monday evening, was organized by public affairs firm Summa Strategies, and was well-attended by Hillites looking to lend a helping hand and reacquaint themselves with West Block’s Room 200, which is a hub of social activity while Parliament is sitting.
