Trump’s worst is yet to come

Who would vote for a man who has encouraged racists and white supremacists, suppressed and denied science, cozied up to dictators and demagogues, betrayed his allies, permanently separated immigrant families at the border and locked kids in cages, and nearly tripled the U.S. deficit from just a year ago? There’s not much art in a deal that leaves the country with a $3.007-trillion revenue shortfall, part of it to pay for tax cuts for billionaires like the president.

But just a day after you read these words, the world will at least know if the American people have developed herd immunity to lying, cheating, corruption, cronyism, lawlessness, and fraud.
