Communication ‘critical’ as provinces and territories begin phase out of COVID restrictions, says Canadian Chamber of Commerce

Provinces, including British Columbia, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick, have not yet announced plans for removing proof of vaccination requirements.

Alberta Premier Jason Kenney announced a three-step approach to phase out the province’s public health measures on Feb. 8. The Government of Alberta lifted the province’s COVID-19 vaccine passport program on Feb. 9, and announced that capacity restrictions on all venues would be lifted on March 1. Saskatchewan lifted proof of vaccination requirements on Feb. 14, with plans to remove mask mandates on March 1. The Hill Times photograph by Andrew Meade
