Supporters irked as parties eschew competition amid tight deadline to fill candidate slots

The Conservative have the most candidates confirmed at 305, followed by the Liberals who have 290 candidates, the NDP with 211, and the Greens with 169. The Bloc nearly has a full slate at 76 candidates.
