As Mark Carney ruminates on his future, the Trudeau government should sound him out on potential ways in which he could use his experience to guide Canada onto a stronger growth trajectory in a low-carbon world, which is essential for future well-being as well as the affordability of healthcare and other social priorities in an aging society.
