COPPS' CORNER

Trump may be in big leagues now, but it certainly does not show

What was supposed to be a chance for the country to see a kinder, gentler Donald Trump, ended up simply solidifying the poisonous atmosphere inside the Republican Party.

The plagiarist, who helped Donald Trump pen several books on his own career, had no political experience, and obviously did not understand the due diligence that must go into parsing every word before a convention audience. Why did Trump not hire a political writer who might understand that crafting that kind of speech is quite different from publishing an autobiography?
