In the spirit of moving forward, as a progressive society, NORML Women’s Alliance of Canada would like to offer some guidance to achieve a more responsible approach to cannabis news reports.

Not all cannabis users wear funky hats: NORML’s Kelly Coulter says the media should stop focusing on sensational optics like the annual 4/20 celebration which is only one day a year. ‘The other 364 days of the year the majority of consumers are wearing regular, everyday clothes and consuming in the privacy of their own homes. This extreme imagery stigmatizes the majority of consumers and supporters.’
