I bumped into an old friend from Canadian Heritage a few weeks ago. We chatted, amongst other things, about the Olympics. My friend breathed a sigh of relief, saying the ongoing battle over a French presence at the Games was finally resolved. With last-minute funding increases and additional translation help, we should expect a picture-perfect bilingual Olympic and Paralympic Games.
