It's not like there aren't already abundant reasons for overhauling our system of Parliamentary government but let's consider yet another: the concept and practice of Parliamentary "opposition," at least as we know it in this country, are outdated, counter-productive, a waste of money and human effort and a source of little more than Jerry Springer theatrics and gnawing cynicism.
