Rookie Liberal MP Erskine-Smith’s video causes some friction, head-scratching in Grit caucus after Liberals help defeat his private member’s bill

Liberal MPs Kim Rudd and Mike Bossio say they're 'disappointed' with their colleague’s YouTube video, but won't hold it against him.

Liberal MP Nathaniel Erskine-Smith's YouTube video created some friction in the Liberal caucus because in it he suggests people vote against MPs in the next election who don't support his animal cruelty bill. It was defeated by the Liberals and cabinet last week. Mr. Erskine-Smith said he did not intend to urge people to vote against his own party.
