Senators say they’re frustrated by slow pace of Senate reforms

Liberal Senate caucus delays caucus elections of leadership positions.

Liberal Sen. Paul Massicotte and Conservative Sen. Stephen Greene told The Hill Times that Senators in both parties are frustrated at the slow pace and lack of progress on Senate reform. Liberal Senate Leader James Cowan and Conservative Senate Whip Don Plett deny that the pace is slow and argue that changes in the Senate cannot be achieved 'overnight.'
