Re: “I’m not too excited about Trudeau’s much ballyhooed plan to scrap our voting system,” (The Hill Times, Jan. 18, p. 9). It’s pretty easy to figure out what Gerry Nicholls’ position on electoral reform is: he can take it or leave it. As his final sentence says, the voting system matters to the politicians, but it’s of no consequence to the rest of us because, according to Nicholls, we care only about why we vote for anyone.
