Democratic Institutions Minister Karina Gould, along with Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale and National Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan, announced on Wednesday new measures intended to enhance the government's efforts to respond to the threat of foreign interference in the upcoming election. Among the new measures introduced is the establishment of a panel of public servants responsible for alerting the public to credible threats to manipulate the political discourse.
