Explosive book on White House provides fodder for Ottawa bubble, but little concern for Canada, say observers

The book made brief mention of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, described as a 45-year-old 'globalist in the style of Clinton and Blair,' who, in the early days of the presidency, 'came to Washington and repeatedly smiled and bit his tongue.'

A new book by a journalist with inside access to the White House quotes numerous members of President Donald Trump's inner circle deriding him and his family. Mr. Trump is pictured here receiving a briefing three months after his inauguration from his national security team, including his then-chief strategist Steve Bannon, pictured right in front of a lamp, at Mar-a-Largo in Palm Beach, Florida.  Official White House photo by Shealah Craighead
