NDP revising harassment policy to cover campaigns, party activities, canvassing, while Saskatchewan NDP probes sexual assault allegation

The Saskatoon Police says it's investigating the allegation, which is also being investigated by the Saskatchewan NDP’s anti-harassment committee.

As the Saskatchewan NDP grapples with a sexual assault allegation raised by a member of its provincial executive board, the federal party is working to revise its harassment policy to extend it to cover campaign offices, canvassing and other party activities. The federal party’s current anti-harassment policy, which exists separate from its constitution, covers conventions and formal party meetings.
