Canada Post has commenced a detailed investigation into its mail sorting and delivery system to figure out what causes some of the postage-free letters sent to Parliamentarians to be returned to senders. “We are proud to deliver letters to specific federal government officials free of charge and have done so for many years. This shouldn’t have happened and we are investigating to find out what occurred,” Canada Post spokesman Phil Legault said in an email to The Hill
