Rachel Kadloo, 19, has lived in Ottawa for most of her life. Like many other young people, she’s unsure of her future. She’d like to go to college one day, though the place that tops her wish list is a little bit unconventional: she dreams of one day going to the Nunavut Arctic College in Iqaluit. Not for its prestige or its programs, but for the school’s connection to her community and to her roots. Kadloo is Inuk.
