Good news. The World Health Organization announced that the incidence of tuberculosis is finally starting to decrease. The screening test for this disease is becoming more and more rapid and the cost of a treatment for one patient is very inexpensive—less than $20. Despite this improvement, the fact remains that each year, 1.4 million people die from the disease, or the equivalent of three people per minute.
