Since being appointed Defence Minister back in August 2007, Peter Mackay has been a busy man. Besides overseeing Canada's largest military mission since the Korean war, he has helped the Canadian Forces procure badly-needed new equipment, and even threw his hat in the ring during the recent campaign for NATO secretary general.
