The Canadian Defence Industries Association (CDIA) represents the interests of companies in Canada that provide products and services to Canadian and foreign defence departments. Currently, Canada's defence industry generates approximately $7-billion Canadian in annual revenue, supporting full or part-time employment for over 50,000 workers in all regions of Canada. About two-thirds of revenues are derived from the domestic defence market; the United States receives approximately 50 per cent of Canada's defence exports.
