Politicos were at the NAC to pay tribute to longest serving Speaker in history

NDP MP Libby Davies explained the concept of the 'Speaker's wiggle,' and Milliken says which MPs make him chuckle.

After starting the Parliamentary season with a call to arms, Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff's precipitous fall in the polls has safely buried the election campaign hatchet for the foreseeable future. And with the Tories unable to capitalize on their recent surge in popularity because they made such an indignant fuss over Iggy wanting to have an election, the Hill has been pretty relaxed lately. That is save for some intermittent Liberal infighting, but really their hearts just aren't in it anymore.
