It was the first MP-less week on Parliament Hill, and the Parliamentary Press Gallery threw a lunchtime fête that had a kids-away-at-camp type feel to it. On a bright and sunny Monday afternoon scores of reporters, and one possibly confused Senator, took over the East Block courtyard for the gallery's bi-annual "mugging," where departing journos are presented with an old-style silver mug with a glass bottom to commemorate their time keeping an eye on those crazy kids running the country.
