Thoughts on the late U.S. ambassador Edward N. Ney: RIP

Ed Ney was our 23rd ambassador to Canada, succeeding the last career foreign service officer as ambassador, and serving between June 1989 and June 1992. Despite no previous diplomatic experience, Ney proved to be an excellent and effective representative from our country to yours.
