New Science and Technology Minister Ed Holder well-liked, but critics don’t see change in federal science policy.

Holder happening: Ed Holder, who has a philosophy degree, worked in the insurance industry before he was first elected in London West in 2008 with 39 per cent of the vote, beating out Liberal incumbent Sue Barnes by less than 2,200 votes. He increased his vote share to 44.5 per cent in the 2011 election.
