The Bloc Québécois's motion to guarantee the province of Quebec at least 25 per cent of the seats in the House of Commons was defeated last week, but the Bloc says it will continue to press the issue and oppose the government's bill to increase seats for Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia at the expense of Quebec.
