Libs relieved, Conservatives contemplate next move
The Libs say if the Conservative and Bloc want to defeat them this spring, it will be a July 11 election. If not, it will be March 2006.
The federal Liberals and many Ontario Conservatives are breathing a sigh of relief after last week's high-drama filled vote on the budget, but it's unclear if the Conservatives will continue to push to defeat the government again before the summer recess. If they do, it could be a July 11 federal election. If not, the Liberals say the next federal election would likely happen next March.
