The Supreme Court of Canada's recent decision is very serious and may allow the undermining of medicare. However, the decision can serve as a wake-up call to implement the recommendations of the Romanow Commission, among others, which will work to preserve and improve medicare. It becomes imperative on all of us, as Canadians, to stand up for a medicare system that will work for everyone.
