The presentation of a "01" hockey jersey to the PM was humourous at best, and disgusting at worst. The credit for Canadian athletes does not belong to Heritage Minister Sheila Copps, nor to Prime Minister Jean Chrétien. The attempt to get a photo-op out of these events is brown-nosing of the most transparent kind.
