Gerecke overwhelmed by over-the-top response to his stolen van, wheelchair and camera; Bourrie releases new book on war reporting

More than $10,000 was raised.

The local Parliament Hill community raised more than $10,000 for Ottawa freelance photographer Steve Gerecke last week after a van containing his photography equipment and wheelchair were stolen.
