Liberal MP Glen Pearson calls Conservative MP Jim Abbott, who's six feet and five inches tall, 'The Quiet Giant.' In a blog posting last week, Mr. Pearson said he never spoke to Mr. Abbott for the first two years he was in Parliament until he was appointed the critic for international cooperation and Mr. Abbott was the Parliamentary secretary to the international cooperation minister.
