The Canadian Association of Former Parliamentarians will give $5,000 to the disaster relief in Haiti and promises to match dollar for dollar individual contributions made by its 829 members, who are former MPs and Senators, up to an additional $5,000, says Leo Duguay, president of the Canadian Association of Former Parliamentarians, and Francis LeBlanc, the CAFP's president of the educational foundation, when they made the announcement last week.
