Former Hill staffer with ALS says feds should be doing more to help stop Lou Gehrig’s disease

Brian Parsons, diagnosed with an aggressive form of ALS, says it’s a horrible disease and patients and their families need more support from the federal government.

Eight months ago, former Liberal Hill staffer Brian Parsons was told he has ALS, or Lou Gehrig’s disease. The 48-year-old husband and father also found out he has 18 months to three years left to live.
