Five-term Liberal MP Jim Karygiannis who recently led a four member delegation of current and former Parliamentarians to Armenia to attend the 90th anniversary of "Armenian genocide" in which 1.5 million Armenians were killed in Ottoman Turkey, says that Prime Minister Paul Martin should take a firm stand on this issue and instruct the Department of Foreign Affairs to recognize the human tragedy as a "genocide."
