If anyone -- say, a candidate for Prime Minister -- were to ask me to kindly stop ranting, at least momentarily, about Parliamentary reform and provide another suggestion to deal with the country's alleged "democratic deficit," here's what I'd say: Go back to the future and follow-up on the legacy of St. Pierre Trudeau who once turned on an entire generation, and much of the rest of the country, with his talk of "participatory democracy."
