Layton's illness changes balance of power in Parliament

We all hope and pray Jack Layton will get through this. But we can safely conclude that the longer the absence, the worse it will be for the New Democratic Party.

TORONTO—The more serious than believed disease of NDP Leader Jack Layton has raised numerous concerns about the future of the NDP and the balance of power that will characterize Parliament this fall.

TORONTO—The more serious than believed disease of NDP Leader Jack Layton has raised numerous concerns about the future of the NDP and the balance of power that will characterize Parliament this fall.
