Liberals to table legislation this winter to apply access-to-information regime to ministers’ offices

The changes could just push partisan work 'underground' onto personal phones and email accounts, says a former Conservative PMO staffer.

Information Commissioner Suzanne Legault has called for the Prime Minister's Office to be opened up to access to information requests, and Treasury Board President Scott Brison is planning to introduce legislation to do just that within a couple of months.The Hill Times photographs by Jake Wright
