Put Justin Trudeau behind a podium and it is death by boredom. The content of his much-anticipated speeches is invariably banal, his style of delivery artificial—slavishly faithful to some departed Oxford don’s idea of Great Oratory. And, unlike Stephen Harper, Trudeau doesn’t set out to be boring.
