MPs arranging to get rapidly-ailing Liberal MP Bélanger into House for Friday’s vote on his gender neutral national anthem bill

According to the procedural rules governing private members' bills, Liberal MP Mauril Bélanger, who is dying of ALS, has to be physically present in the House at the start of the scheduled hour of debate to move the motion for the adoption of his bill at report stage, if no amendments are sought.
