Taiwan has a role in ensuring global health security

Infectious diseases know no boundaries. As the world faces the Zika virus, Taiwan looks to Canada to support its participation in the World Health Organization.

Taiwan has a high risk of Zika, as the disease is transmitted by the same mosquito species that spreads dengue fever, which last year hit its population hard.
