Monsef headlines Douglas C. Frith dinner, hints at big changes in electoral system

Diners were seated based off how much they paid to be there. Tables of 10 'patrons' were seated near the head table, were given prominent logo signage and had their names mentioned from the podium for a cool $12,000.

Democratic Institutions Minister Maryam Monsef took to the stage in the Château Laurier ballroom last Wednesday to speak to current and former parliamentarians—some dating back to the Diefenbaker days—about their role in engaging Canadians.
